Dr. (h.c.) Kumar Visvanathan is a Human Resources Professional with a Master’s degree in Management. He was awarded an honorary Doctorate for People Management by a New York based University in 2019. He recently obtained his Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from International Coaching Federation (ICF). He has over 30 years of experience in the HR space in the IT industry. He is a founding member of Conference Board’s Asia Pacific Shared Services Council. In 2016 he was awarded as HR Superstar by HRO magazine, Philadelphia, USA. He is also a member of India’s Nasscom Steering Committee on Background Checks providing thought leadership and direction. Kumar joined Mindtree in November 2013 to setup and run a multi-functional global Shared Services organization that handles processes in HR, Finance, legal and Procurement. His work was converted into a case study by Harvard. He is currently involved in internal automation.
