The expert is a Consulting Editor with the Business Standard newspaper. He is also a Consultant (energy sector and governance) at RIS, the think tank which works closely with the ministries of external affairs, finance and commerce. His areas of interest include public policy, especially regulatory issues, finance and energy issues. He is in the Adjunct Faculty of OP Jindal Global University teaching Economics. His latest book India's Coal Story, traces how India coal reserves was at the centre of a major political scandal that nearly sent a Prime Minister to jail.
