R.S Sodhi is the former Managing Director of Amul and one of the longest serving executives in the Indian Agriculture and Cooperative sector, having led Amul as a Managing Director since 2010. Previous to his role as a Managing Director, he led Amul's sales and marketing function for over 20 years, adopting many industry-first approaches. He is the man behind Amul's blockbuster campaigns like 'World's original energy drink' and 'Amul Dhoodh Peeta Hai India.' He is credited with turning the cooperative into a corporate, focusing on new markets and brands. Under his 12 years of leadership, the dairy major launched over 100 new products in a variety of categories.
