This expert has developed low-cost technology for cleaning up rivers and lakes, now deployed in 4 cities and has stopped over 30000 tons of trash including 3000 tons of plastics from reaching the oceans. He has also developed new technology in the area of harnessing ocean wave energy and urban flood relief. Currently, he is developing robotic solutions for cleaning crude oil tanks. An Ex-Merchant Navy Captain, he has spoken at many seminars and has addressed members of SAARC on disaster management and the Commonwealth members on innovation.
